Major Gen. (Ret.) Meir Klifi brings over 33 years of military and government experience from the Israel Defense Forces and international arenas. From 2007 to 2010, Major Gen. (Ret.) Klifi served as the Military Secretary to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He held the position of a special military and security adviser to the PM. As such, he has taken part in the national security decision making process. He was also responsible for the Israeli security services and for the coordination of the intelligence agencies vis-à-vis the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office.

During 2006 to 2007, he served as Deputy Chief of the Ground Forces Command. Between 2003 and 2006 he was Chief of the Joint Doctrine and Training Division of the General Staff Command. Until 2006 he served as Commander of Territorial Divisions of northern and southern Command, Commander of a Company and Battalion Commander Course, and has fulfilled various positions in the Paratroopers brigade. Major Gen. (Ret.) Meir Klifi is now the owner and the CEO of ASDS, Ltd. (Amirim – Strategic Defense Solutions), and senior vice president at SDB Partners, LLC. Major Gen. (Ret.) Meir Klifi has acquired extensive experience in strategic planning for governments and international organizations worldwide. He also specialized in the design and implementation of security technologies, sensors and smart systems for “safe cities,” and has a track record of projects in Central and Latin America, Russia, Africa and other markets. Major Gen. (Ret.) Meir Klifi has a BA in Political Science from the Haifa University, Israel. He is also a graduate of the Israel National Security College and several additional military and leadership courses in the Israel Defense Forces.
